USEF Names Competitors for Upcoming IESF World Esports Championships

United States Esports Federation announces U.S. representatives for World Esports Championships in Romania. Best wishes to our athletes!

The United States Esports Federation (USEF.GG) is proud to announce the competitors that will represent the United States at the World Esports Championships to be held by the International Esports Federation (IESF) in Romania this summer. Congratulations and best wishes for success in this international event to the following esports athletes:

Athlete Selection

USEF.GG selected representatives for the titles in several qualifier events over the past two months.

  • DOTA 2: Working with leaders across the “Dota 2” community in the US, a qualifying tournament was held pitting the best of the best squads against each other to fight for the national qualifying spot. Ultimately, Nouns came out victorious and qualified directly for the World Championships after their competitors in the Regional Qualifiers could not compete.
  • CS:GO Male & CS:GO Female: Qualifying teams for the U.S. for the World Championships come from the legendary Evil Geniuses organization and Atlanta-based Detonate. The CS:GO Female team has a direct slot in the World Championships after being identified as the top team in the U.S.
  • MLBB: Moonton, the publisher of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), held an electrifying in-person NACT finals in Las Vegas. After an exciting Best of 7 series, the winning team was BTK, the BloodThirstyKings. They defeated OutPlay in a thrilling 4-3 victory. The players named above will compete for BTK at the World Championships. Due to unforeseen circumstances, BTK has updated the roster from the players that competed at NACT.
  • Tekken 7: To no one's surprise, Anakin will once again represent the U.S. for 2023. Anakin continues to perform at the highest level globally and we have great hopes for his chances in winning it all in Romania.
  • eFootball: Mojtaba continues to impress with his dedication and hard work pushing eFootball in the U.S. He qualified after a series of show matches to represent the U.S. He currently ranks 90th in the world and is looking forward to testing his skills against the best of the best.
